Balikpapan Botanical Garden is located in the Karang Joang Vilage, North Balikpapan, in Sungai Wain protected Forest region covering an area of 309.9 hectares. Botanical Garden as the equivalent of a botanical gardern, a conservation area that has documented living plant collections arranged by the pattern of taxonomic classification, bioregion, thematic, orthe combination of these patterns, and managed by an insitution for conservation, research, education, tourism and environmental services.
